RESCINDING ORDINANCE NO. 176 ASD
AM~%DING SECTION 8.60.141(8)
OF THE POWAY ~JNICIPAL GODE
REGARDING ~S FOR THE
GONSTRUCTION OF SEPTIC SYSTEMS
1. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 8.60.141(B) shall be amended to read as follows:

No septic system shall be installed on a parcel of land less than
one acre in size, unless the Director of Public Services deter-
mines that the parcel cannot be economically served by City sewers
and is in an area that has not experienced septic system failures
in the past.
Ordinance No. 176 is hereby rescinded.
This Amendment will not cause significant adverse impacts on the environment
and a Negative Declaration is issued.
EFFECTIVE DAT,:: This ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty (30)
days after the date of its passage; and before the expiration of fifteen (15)
days after its passage, it shall be published once with the names and members
~oting for and against the same in the Powa~z News Chieftain, a newspaper of
general circulation published in the City of Poway.
Introduced and first read at a regular ~n~cting of the City Council of the
City of Poway held the 26th day of November, 1985, and thereafter PASSED AbD
ADOPTfD at a regular meeting of said City Council held the 3rd day of December,
1985, by the following roll call vote:
