AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
AMENDING SECTION 6752 OF
THE SAN DIEGO COUNTY ZONING ORDINANCE ADOPTED
BY REFERENCE CHANGING OFF-STREET PARKING REQUIREMENTS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council finds that the current off street
parking requirements are inadequate to meet the off-street parking need
within the City of Poway; increased off-street parking around multi-
family dwellings would lessen the traffic circulation hazard observed
around these dwellings.
Section 2. Section 6752 of the San Diego County Zoning Ordinance
is amended to read as follows:
(a) delete section 6752a 2 & 3.
(b) add section 6752a 2 as follows:
2. Multi-family dwelling rental project;
1 covered and 1/2 uncovered parking spaces
for each dwelling unit of one (1) bedroom or
less; 1 covered and 1 1/4 uncovered parking
spaces for each dwelling unit of 2 bedrooms;
2 covered and 3/4 uncovered parking spaces
for each dwelling unit of 3 bedrooms or more.
(b) add section 6752a 3 as follows:
3. Multi-family dwelling condominimum project;
1 covered and 3/4 uncovered parking spaces
for each dwelling unit of one bedroom or
less; 2 covered and 3/4 uncovered parking
spaces for each dwelling unit of 2 bedrooms;
2 covered and one uncovered parking space for
each dwelling unit of 3 bedrooms or more.
Introduced and first read at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Poway held the 3rd day of March, 1981 and thereafter PASSED
AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of said City Council held the 10th day of
March , 1981 by the following vote:
