A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
ADOPTING THE FORM OF THE CITY SEAL
WHEREAS, the City of Poway, California was incorporated on December 1,
1980, as a general law city of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, the City by law is entitled to adopt a City seal;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Poway DOES RESOLVE,
DETERMINE, AND ORDER as follows:
Section 1. The City Seal of the City of Poway shall be in the form of
a die two inches in diameter; the form of the die shall be two circles, one
inside the other. Within the smaller circle shall be imprinted the words
"Incorporated December 1, 1980." Within the larger circle and outside the
limits of the inner circle shall be imprinted the words "City of Poway,
California."
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 9th
day of December, 1980.
