A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
AUTHORIZING SIGNATURES ON WARRANTS
AND ESTABLISHING LIMITS ON SUCH AUTHORIZATION
WHEREAS, the City of Poway, California was incorporated on December 1,
1980, as a general law city of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that the City Council of the City of Poway
officially designate persons authorized to sign warrants of the City of
Poway in order that the financial business of the City may be properly
administered; and
WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City Council to authorize the
Mayor, Deputy Mayor and Acting City Treasurer to sign warrants of the City
of Poway, and to provide limits on such authorization,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Poway DOES RESOLVE,
DETERMINE and ORDER as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor, Deputy Mayor and Acting City Treasurer of the
City of Poway are hereby authorized to sign warrants of the City of Poway
subject to the limitations on such authorization specified in ,Section 2.
Section 2. Warrants of the City of Poway drawn in an amount of less
than $2,000 shall require the signature of one of the city officials
designated in Section 1; and warrants of the City of Poway drawn in an
amount of $2,000 or more shall require the signatures of two of the city
officials designated in Section 1.
