A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
APPROVING A ROAD NAME CHANGE
IN A SUBDIVISION KNOWN AS
"COUNTY TRACT NO. 3926"
(ARIKARA DRIVE TO OLIVE MEADOWS DRIVE)
WHEREAS, pursuant to California Streets and Highways Code Section
5026, this City Council, by resolution and after giving posted notice, may
change the name of a street; and
WHEREAS, due to changes made in the approved design of the
subdivision known as County Tract No. 3926 (Rayo del Sol), it is
appropriate to change the name of a proposed street in said subdivision;
and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of State law, due and proper
notice of this proposed name change has been given by posting in the area
affected;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Poway, California that the name of that portion of Arikara Drive from the
intersection with Olive Grove Drive to a point 145' +/- South of said
intersection, being the point where said road meets the proposed Olive
Meadows Drive, is hereby changed to Olive Meadows Drive.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the City Clerk of the City of Poway,
California shall notify the County Clerk and County Surveyor of the County
of San Diego of the road name change hereinabove approved by mailing a
certified copy of this resolution thereto.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Poway,
California at a regular meeting thereof this 17th day of February, 1981.
