Res 86RESOLUTION NO. 86 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA AWARDING CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF FIRE STATION 2 AND ADMINISTRATION BUILDING (CITY HALL) WHEREAS, pursuant to notices heretofore given and published by the Poway Municipal Water District, all bids received for construction of Fire Station 2 and Administration Building which have not been awarded to date have been rejected; and WHEREAS, a contract amount has been negotiated for certain trade and has been recommended by staff for acceptance; and WHEREAS, it appears that the negotiated bid is from a responsible bidder and is the best bid possible. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED AND ORDERED by the City Council of the City of Poway, as follows: That the negotiated bid of contractors listed below for construction of Fire Station 2 and Administration Building be accepted and the City Clerk is authorized to do all things necessary to effectuate the contracts for the performance of work in accordance with the contract documents. 1.
