Ord 269 ORDINANCE NO. 269
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
ADOPTING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP
WHEREAS, maps depicting the zoning of the City of Poway at a
scale of 1" = 200' have been prepared since adoption of Ordinance
113; and,
WHEREAS, the public interest is served by depicting the zoning
of the City on a map of as large a scale as possible; and,
WHEREAS, adoption of this map is not intended to constitute
rezoning of any property; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has held public hearings on July 26,
and August 9, 1988.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED as follows:
Section 1:
The City Council adopts the computer generated maps at
scale 1" = 200' on file in the Planning Services Department
as the official zoning map for the City of Poway, super-
ceding any previously adopted zoning maps.
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
thirty (30) days after the date of its passage; and before the
expiration of fifteen (15) days after its passage, it shall be
published once with the names and members voting for and against
the same in the Poway News Chieftain, a newspaper of general cir-
culation published in the City of Poway.
Introduced and first read at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Poway held the 26th day of July, 1988, and
thereafter PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of said City
