AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION
OF CERTAIN PROPERTY (ZC 88-04B)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Poway has approved a General Plan
Amendment GPA 88-04B, amending the land use designation for Assessor's parcels
identified as 323-261-26 and 28 from Rural Residential C (1 du/1, 2, or 4 net
acres) to Residential Single Family-1 (1 du net acre); and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the zoning classification of the
Assessor's parcels 323-261-26 and 28 should also be chan§ed to maintain con-
sistency with the General Plan as required by Section 56860 of the California
Government Code; and
WHEREAS, a properly noticed public hearin§ was conducted in accordance with
Section 65853, et. seq., of the California Government Code and the California
Environmental Quality Act to consider Zong Change (AC 88-04B); and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed Zone Chan§e 88-04B will
not have significant adverse impacts on the environment and hereby issues a
Negative Declaration.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the City Council does hereby amend the
City of Poway Zoning Plan Map for Assessor's parcels 323-261-26 and 28 from
Rural Residential C (RR-C zone) to Residential Single Family-1 (RS-l).
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty (30)
days after the date of its passage; and before the expiration of fiteen (15)
days after its passage, it shall be published once with the names and members
voting for and against the same in the Powa~v News Chieftain, ~ newspaper of
general circulation published in the City of Poway.
Introduced and first read at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Poway held the 11th day of October, 1988, and thereafter PASSED AND
ADOPTED at a regular meeting of said City Council held the 25 day of ~tnh~,
1988 by the following roll call vote:
