Res 107 RESOLUTION NO. 107
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
APPOINTING THE CITY TREASURER
WHEREAS, the City of Poway, California was incorporated on December 1, 1980,
as a general law city of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, it was necessary that an Acting City Treasurer be appointed immed-
iately in order that the affairs of the City may be properly administered; and
WHEREAS, it was the intention of the City Council to appoint a permanent
City Treasurer at such time as a municipal organization had been finalized, and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has implemented a municipal organization which
proposed to combine the offices of City Clerk and City Treasurer, both of which
are responsible directly to the City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Poway DOES RESOLVE, DETER-
MINE AND ORDER as follows: that
Section 1. Marjorie K. Wahlsten is hereby appointed City Treasurer of the
City of Poway.
Section 2. Compensation is deemed to be included in that of the City
Clerk.
