A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF Pf~4AY, CALIFORNIA
ESTIMATING THE AMOUNT NECESSARY TO BE RAISED BY TAXATION
AND SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1981-1982
FOR IMPROVEMENT DISTRICTS OF THE CITY FORMERLY KNOWN AS
POWAY MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICTw POMERADO COUNTY WATER DISTRICT,
AND ORCHARD WATER DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the terms and conditions of the Poway Reoganization provided for
the City Council to "determine each year the amount of money needed to make
annual payments of the principal and interest of the outstanding voter-approved
bonded indebtedness of the improvement districts" and provide the information to
the Board of Supervisors; and
WHEREAS, said conditions further state that "taxes shall be levied and
collected in the same manner provided by the principal acts of the dissolved
Poway Municipal Water District, Pomerado County Water District, and Orchard
Water District."
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE,
ORDER, DETERMINE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That the sum of $0.00 is required to be raised by taxation for
the Purpose of the payment of principal and interest on all outstanding bonds of
the Sewer Improvement District (property formerly known as Pomerado County Water
District) and to provide for the payment of interest on the principal of said
bonds at maturity. Suffice monies are available in appropriated fund
established for the purpose of debt service.
Section 2: That the sum of $15,000.00 is required to be raised by taxation
for the purpose of the payment of principal and interest on all outstanding
bonds of the Orchard Improvement District (property formerly known as Orchard
Water District) and to provide for the payment of interest on the principal of
said bonds at maturity.
Section 3: That the sum of $840,000.00 is required to be raised by taxation
for the purpose of the payment of principal and interest on all outstanding
bonds of the Water Improvement District (property formerly known as Poway
Municipal Water District) and to provide for the payment of interest on the
principal of said bonds at maturity.
Section 4: That the sum of $3,500.00 is required to be raised by taxation
for the purpose of the payment of principal and interest on all outstanding
bonds of the Water Improvement District ~1 (property formerly known as Poway
Munical Water District #1) and to provide for the payment of interest on the
principal of said bonds at maturity.

Section 5: That the sum of $3,682.00 is due the Sewer Improvement District
representing 1/10th of the total annexation fees covering the Del Norte
Improvement District 73-1. That said sum of $3,682.00 shall be collected as a
Flat Charge Special Assessment on the 1981-82 County Tax Roll pursuant to
instructions and agreements between Pomerado County Water District and the
County of San Diego.
Section 6: That the sum of $289.00 is due the Sewer Improvement District
representing 1/10th of the total annexation fees covering the Kozy Crest
Improvement District 80-2. That said sum of $289.00 shall be collected as a
Flat Charge Special Assessment on the 1981-82 County Tax Roll pursuant to
instructions and agreements between Pomerado County Water District and the
County of San Diego.
Section 7: The City Clerk is instructed to forward a certified copy of this
Resolution to the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Diego
and to the Auditor of the County of San Diego, San Diego, California.
PASSED, ADOPTED and APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Poway,
California, at a regular meeting thereof this 28th day of July, 1981.
