RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA,
SETTING TIME AND PLACE FOR PUBLIC HEARING
REGARDING A CHANGE OF WORK FOR
GREEN VALLEY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 80-1
WHEREAS during the course of work on Green Valley Improvement District
No. 80-1 the following change of work has been proposed:
Description Amount of Increase
Lump sum payment of contractor in $18,934.00
settlement of claim for damages due
to delay caused by legal proceed-
ings;
and
WHEREAS Section 5232 of the California Streets and Highways Code requires
a public hearing prior to the ordering of any changes of work.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IR RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL AS FOLLOWS:
On August 18, 1981, at 7:00 p.m., at Meadowbrook School, 12320 Meadowbrook
Lane, Poway, California, any interested person having any objection to the
changes proposed to be made may appear before the City Council and show cause
why the changes should not be ordered. All information regarding the details
of such proposed change of work is in the possession of the E~g~neer of Work°
Any inquiries regarding the hearing proceedings should be directed to
Glenn Prentice, Department of Public Works, whose telephone number is (714)
748-1414.
This resolution shall be published pursuant to Section 6061 of the
California Government Code at least 10 days prior to the date of the hearing.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Poway, California
at a regular meeting thereof this 4th day of August, 1981.
