A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
REESTABLISHING A COMPREHENSIVE SCHEDULE
SETTING FORTH FEES FOR BUILDING SERVICES
WHEREAS, Section 51.212 et. seq. of the City Code authorizes the City
Council to establish fees for various building construction permit applications
by Resolution; and
WHEREAS, Section 52.501 et. seq. of the City Code authorizes the City
Council to establish fees for various electrical permit applications by
Resolution; and
WHEREAS, Section 53.110 et. seq. of the City Code authorizes the City
Council to establish fees for various plumbing permit applications by
Resolution; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Poway
does hereby establish fees as follows:
Section 1: BUILDING CONSTRUCTION PERMIT FEES

OTHER PERMIT FEES
a. COMPLIANCE SURVEY FEE. The fee for conducting a compliance survey of
an existing structure shall be $0.90 per 100 square feet or fraction
thereof of floor area, but not less than $50.
RESIDENTIAL DRIVEWAY FEE. The permit fee which shall be paid for
filing an application for the residential driveway permit is $20.

E. PLAN CHECK REVIEW FEES.
When a plan or other data is required to be submitted by Subsection(b) of
Section 302, of the 1979 Uniform Building Code, a plan check review fee
shall be paid at the time of submitting plans and specifications for review.
Said plan check review fee shall be 65 percent of the building permit fee
as shown in Section 1 (a) of this Resolution.
Where plans are incomplete or changed so as to require additional plan check
review, an additional plan check review fee shall be charged at the rate
shown in Section 1 (a) of this Resolution.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Poway,
California, at a regular meeting thereof this 25th day of August, 1981.
