RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY,
CALIFORNIA APPROVING A MASTER AGREEMENT WITH THE U.S.
DEPARTMENT OF INTERIOR, BUREAU OF RECLAMATION FOR
ENCROACHMENT ON EASEMENT OF THE FIRST SAN DIEGO AQUEDUCT
WHEREAS, the U.S. Department of Interior, Bureau of Reclamation is
owner of the easement for the First San Diego Aqueduct; and
WHEREAS, the City of Poway must frequently encroach on the First
San Diego Aqueduct Easement for construction of water and sewer facilities;
and
WHEREAS, a Master Agreement for encroachment will facilitate encroach-
ment procedures.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Poway
as follows:
Section 1: The ~4aster Agreement and Consent for ~ncroachment on Easement
of First San Diego Aqueduct"is hereby approved.
Section 2: The Mayor of the City of Poway is designated as the signatory
authority for execution of the Agreement.
PASSED, ADOPTED and APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Poway,
california, at a regular meeting thereof this 25th day of August, 1981.
