A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
ESTABLISHING POWAY NEWS CHEIFTAIN
AS NEWSPAPER OF GENERAL CIRCULATION
IN WHICH TO PUBLISH NOTICES
WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section 6040, notices required by law
to be published must be published in a newspaper of general circulation; and
WHEREAS, the Poway News Chieftain meets the criteria set forth in Government
Code Section 6008 and was adjudicated a newspaper of general circulation by
Superior Court Order No. 226549, February 23, 1962.
NGW~ THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY, AS
FOLLOWS:
That the Poway News Chieftain is hereby established as the newspaper of
general circulation for the publication of such notices as are required to be
published by law.
PASSED, ADOPTED and APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Poway,
California, at a regular meeting thereof this 25th day of August, 1981.
