Res 151RESOLUTION NO. 151 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA PROVIDING FOR CERTAIN ADJUSTMENTS TO BE MADE IN THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF POWAY AND THE NON-SAFETY EMPLOYEES. WHEREAS, the existing Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Poway and the Non-Safety employees provided for meet and confer to be reopened after June 1, 1981, to discuss Article 5. Wages.; and WHEREAS, the City through its representatives, has reached agreement with the employee representatives as to certain adjustments to be made in salaries, said agreement being set forth in an addendum dated August 19, 1981; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Poway as follows: Effective July 1, 1981, the City Council of the City of Poway shall grant to all of its employees an 8.0% pay increase. Article 5. Wages. of the existing Memorandum of Agreement shall be amended to accommodate said adjustments. The amended salary schedule referred to in this article is attached hereto as EXHIBIT "A" and is incorporated herein by reference. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 1981. ATTEST: Marjo~e! K. Emery, AN AMENDMENT TO THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING THIS ADDENDUM SUPERSEDES IN ITS ENTIRETY, ARTICLE 5 OF THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERST~NDING DATED JULY 1, 1980, BETWEEN THE CITY OF POWAY NON-SAFETY EMPLOYEES, AND THE CITY OF POWAY, EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 1981. Merit reviews will be conducted no less frequently than once each year. Merit reviews for position of Utility Worker I shall be conducted upon completion of the 2nd, 6th and 12th month of employment. Effective 7-1-81, all employees in the unit on 7-1-81, shall receive an 8.0% pay increase within the ranges above. This addendum shall remain in force and effect, as provided under Article 4. Duration of Agreement, of the existing Memorandum of Understanding, dated July 1, 1980.
