A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CA].IFORNIA
APPROVING THE COOPERATION AGR~ B~
17{E COUNTY OF SAN DIEGO B_ND TH~ CITY OF POWAY
FOR A COMP~JNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the United States Congress enacted the Housing and
Co~,~o_ity Development Act of 1974 providing Federal funds fora wide
mange of housing and Conmunity development activities; and
WHEREAS, the Housing and Co~u~nity development Block Grant
Regulations require sma] ler con, inanities within a metropolitan area to
join with the County's application to the Department of Housing and
Urban Development for funds; and
- WHEREAS, the City shall be' included in the County's application
to the Depa~.h~mnt of Housing and Urban Development for Block Grant funds.
NOW, THtlREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF TH~ CITY OF POWAY DOES HEREBY
~-PPROVE the Cooperation ~reement with the County of San Diego for a
Co~.~'~.ity Development Program and authorize the Mayor to execute sa~.
PASSED, ADOPTED and APPROVED by the City Council of the City of
Poway, California, at a regulam meeting thereof this 27th day of
October , 1981.
