A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY CO~CIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
REQUESTING FUNDS THROUGH THE
SAN DIEC~ ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENTS
FOR A STUDY OF BICYCLE ROUTES TO BE IMPLEMENTED
INTO THE CIRCULATION ELEMENT OF THE
POWAY GENERAL PLAN
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to introduce into the circuclation
element items that relate to bicycle routes throuahout the City; and
WHEREAS, certain monies are available with the 1981-1982 Local
Transportation Fund contingency reserve which can be utilized to assist in
such an introduction; and
WHEREAS, such request for funding through the San Dieqo Association
of Governments must be authorized by the City Council,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Powav hereby authorizes the San Diego Association of Govenments to
consider such a fund request and recommends its approval.
APPROVED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Poway, State of
