A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
REQUESTING FUNDS THROUGH THE
TRANSIT DEVELOPMENT ACT TO INSTALL
BICYCLE LANES ALONG COMMUNITY ROAD
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to continue to improve
safe passage of bicyclists through the City; and
WHEREAS, certain monies are available with the 1982/83
Transit Development Act which can be utilized to assist in such an
introduction; and
WHEREAS, such request for funding through the San Diego
Association of Governments must be authorized by the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Poway hereby authorizes the San Diego Association of Govern-
ments to consider such a fund request and recommends its approval.
APPROVED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Poway, State of California this 9th day of March, 1982.
