A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
VACATING CITY HIGHWAY
WHEREAS, Ponderosa Homes has requested the vacation of the
hereinafter described city highway; and
WHEREAS, on February 16, 1982, the City Council of the City of
Poway declared its intention to vacate city highway; and
WHEREAS, after investigation, the City Department of Planning
Services has recommended approval of the vacation; and
WHEREAS, on March 9, 1982, a public hearing was held; and
WHEREAS, no significant environmental effects were determined and
a Negative Declaration is hereby issued; and
WHEREAS, it appears to this Council that said hereinafter
described highway is not needed for present and/or prospective use as a
city highway~
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Poway to
vacate and abandon the following described city highway pursuant to the
Streets and Highways Code:
Those portions of The Ranch, Unit 1, according to map thereof No. 7892,
filed in the Office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, March 5,
1974, described as follows:
The Open Space Easements in Lots 1 through 19 excepting
therefrom the easterly 30.00 feet of Lot 19, the Open Space
Easements in Lots 22 through 25 excepting therefrom the easterly
30.00 feet of Lot 22, the Open Space Easement in Lot 40
excepting therefrom the southerly 15.00 feet, and the Open Space
Easements in Lots 42 through 49.
Passed and Adopted by the City Council of the City of Poway,
California, at a regular meeting thereof this 9th day of March~ 1982.
