A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND OTHER CONTRACT
DOCUMENTS FOR AND AUTHORIZING THE ADVERTISEMENT FOR
INVITATION FOR BIDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
TRAFFIC SIGNAL & ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS
(POWAY ROAD and GARDEN ROAD)
WHEREAS, plans and specifications and other contract documents for construc-
tion of traffic signal and roadway improvements (Poway Road and Garden Road) have
been prepared and submitted by City Engineer; and
WHEREAS, included as part of said contract documents is a notice inviting
sealed proposals; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has obtained from the Director of the Department of
Industrial Relations a determination of the general prevailing rate of per diem
wages and the general prevailing rate for holiday and overtime work on March 2,
1982, in the locality in which said work is to be performed for each craft, classi-
fication or type of worker needed and a schedule thereof is on file in the Office
of the City Clerk, 13325 Civic Center Dr., Poway, California;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Poway,
California, as follows:
1. That the plans and specifications and other contract documents for con-
struction of traffic signal and roadway improvements (Poway Road and Garden
Road) are hereby approved.
2. That bids for construction of same shall be received up to the hour of
2:00 P.M., on March 25, 1982, at the office of the CITY CLERK, 13325 Civic
Center Dr., P.O. Box 785, Poway, California 92064;
3. That the City Council determines that the wages and holiday and overtime
pay set forth in the Schedule of Prevailing Rates of Wages on file in the
City Clerk's Office are for the locality in which the work is to be performed
and the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and the general prevailing
rate for holiday and overtime pay on March 2, 1982, for each draft, classifi-
cation and type of worker needed to perform the work; and
4. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to give and publish
the appropriate notice of an invitation for bids upon the work contemplated
within the foregoing plans and specifications and other contract documents.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Poway, California at
a regular meeting thereof this 2nd day of March, 1982.
