A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
REQUESTING FUNDS THROUGH THE
RESERVE BIKEWAY FUND TO PROVIDE
BIKE LANES AND STREET IMPROVEMENTS
ON COMMUNITY ROAD, SOUTH OF POWAY ROAD
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to continue to improve safe
passage of bicyclists through the City; and
WHEREAS, certain monies are available through the Reserve
Bikeway Fund which can be utilized to assist in such construction
and
WHEREAS, such request for funding through the San Diego
Association of Governments must be authorized by the City Council,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
· City of Poway hereby authorizes the San Diego Association of
Governments to consider such a fund request and recommends its approval.
APPROVED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Poway,
State of California this 25th day of May, 1982.
