A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND OTHER CONTRACT
DOCUMENTS FOR AND AUTHORIZING THE ADVERTISEMENT FOR
INVITATION FOR BIDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF STREET
IMPROVEMENTS; TRAFFIC SIGNAL MODIFICATION;
AND A.C. WALKWAY IMPROVEMENTS
W/~EREAS, plans and specifications and other contract documents for
"Construction of Street Improvements
on Community Road West Side From
Poway Road to Civic Center Drive"
"Furnish and Install Left Turn Signal
at Community Road and Poway Road Intersection"
"Construction of A.C. Walkway
on Midland Road East Side From
Putney Road to 250' North on Janette Lane"
have been prepared and submitted by City Engineer; and
WHEREAS, included as part of said contract documents is a notice inviting
sealed proposals; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has obtained from the Director of the Department
of Industrial Relations a determination of the general prevailing rate of per diem
wages and the general prevailing rate for holiday and overtime work on June 1,
1982, in the locality in which said work is to be performed for each craft,
classification or type of worker needed and a schedule thereof is on file in the
Office of the City Clerk, 13325 Civic Center Dr., Poway, California;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Poway,
California, as follows:
1. That the plans and specifications and other contract documents for
construction of improvements heretofore referred to are hereby approved.
2. That bids for construction of same shall be received up to the hour
of 2:00 P.M., on June 24, 1982, at the Office of the City Clerk, 13325
Civic Center Drive, P. O. Box 785, Poway, California 92064;
3. That the City Council determines that the wages and holiday and
overtime pay set forth in the Schedule of Prevailing Rates of Wages
on file in the City Clerk's Office are for the locality in which the
work is to be performed and the general prevailing rate of per diem
wages and the general prevailing rate for holiday and overtime pay on
June 1, 1982, for each craft, classification and type of worker needed
to perform the work; and

4. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to give and
publish the appropriate notice of an invitation for bids upon the work
contemplated within the foregoing plans and specifications and other
contract documents.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Poway, California
at a regular meeting thereof this 1st day of June, 1982.
