A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA AUTHORIZING THE CITY
OF POWAY TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH THE COUNTY OF
SAN DIEGO FOR L~W ENFORCEMENT SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City of Poway has expressed a desire to enter into a Con-
tract with the County of San Diego for Law Enforcement Services, for Fiscal
Year 1982-83, and
WHEREAS, the County of San Diego has demonstrated the ability to pro-
vide the desired level of service at a cost satisfactory to the City of
Poway, and
WHEREAS, the contractual relationship for law enforcement services
has proven to be a cost effective means of mutual benefit to both the City
and County in an era of financial restraint and uncertainty.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Poway does hereby approve
the attached Contract (Exhibit A) with the County of San Diego for Law
Enforcement Services and authorizes the Mayor to execute the contract on
behalf of the City.
APPROVED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Poway, State
of California this 22nd day of June, 1982.
