A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY,
CALIFORNIA APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND OTHER
CONTRACT DOCUMENTS FORAND AUTHORIZING THE
ADVERTISEMENT FOR INVITIATION FOR BIDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF STORM DRAIN FACILITY CROSSING COMMUNITY ROAD BETWEEN
OLIVE~GROVE DRIVE AND KETRON AVENUE.
W~HEREAS, plans and specifications and other contract documents for
"The Construction or ~nstallation of
Storm Drain Facility Crossing Community Road
between Olive Grove Drive and Ketron Avenue
and the Construction of a Portion of Community Road."
have been prepared and subn~itted by City Engineer; and
WHEREAS, included as part of said contract documents is a notice
inviting sealed proposals; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has obtained from the Director of the
Department'of Industrial Relations a determination of the ~eneral prevailing rate
of per diem wages and the general prevailing rate for holiday and overtime work on
July 6, 1982, in the locality in which said work is to be performed for each craft,
classification or type of worker needed and a schedule thereof is on file in the
Office of the City Clerk, 13325 Civic Center Dr., Poway, California;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Poway, California, as follows:
1. That ~he plans and specifications and other contract documents
for construction of'improvements heretofore referred to are hereby
approved.
2. That bids for construction of same shall be received up to
the hour of 2:00 P.M., on'July 29, 1982, at the office of the
City Clerk, 13325 Civic Center Drive, P.O. Box 785, Poway,
California 92064;
3. That the City Council determines that the wages and holiday
and overtime pay set forth in the Schedule of Prevailing Rates
of Wages on file in the City Clerk's Office are for the locality
in which the work is to be performed and the general prevailing
.rate of per diem wages and the general prevailing rate for
holiday and overtime pay on July 6, 1982, for each craft, classi-
fication and'type of worker needed to perform the work; and
4. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
give and publish the appropriate notice of an invitation for bids
upon the work contemplated within the foregoing plans and speci-
fications and other contract documents.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Poway,
California at a regular meeting thereof this 6th day of July, 1982.
