A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
APPROVING THE REPORT PREPARED FOR COLLECTION OF
WEED ABATEMENT CHARGES ON THE COUNTY TAX ASSESSOR'S
ROLL FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1982-83
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Poway desires that weed
abatement charges for the fiscal year 1982-83 be collected on the tax roll,
in the same manner, by the same persons, and at the same time as, together
with and not separately from, general taxes as provided in the Government
Code, Sections 39577 and 39578; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 41 of the City of Poway establishes the
procedures for abatement of public nuisances by notifying property owners of
the necessity to clean premises and authorizes collection of weed abatement
charges on the Tax Roll in the Same Manner, by the Same Persons, and at the
Same Time, as Together with and not Separately from, General Taxes pursuant
to the Government Code, Sections 39577 and 39578; and
WHEREAS, the City Council conducted a public hearing on the
matter following the due promulgation of notice as required by law.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY DOES HEREBY
FIND, RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The report submitted to the City Council setting forth
weed abatement charges as established by Ordinance No. 41 and attached hereto
as Exhibit A, is hereby approved.
Section 2: The City Clerk is authorized and directed to file the
Official Report with the County Auditor, County of San Diego, State of
California.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the CITY COUNCIL of the CITY OF POWAY,
CLAIFORNIA, at a regular meeting thereof this 27th day of July, 1982.

REPORT OF WEED ABATEMENT CHARGES TO
BE COLLECTED ON THE 1982-83 TAX ROLL
In accordance with Ordinance No. 41 of the City of Poway, property
owners of the attached listed parcels were notified by mail of the
necessity to abate weeds, brush and/or other debris on their pro-
perty which cause a public nuisance.
The public nuisances were not abated by the date specified on the
notices and a private contractor, working for the City of Poway,
abated the nuisance.
Charges for the abatement, which includes a $20 City Administrative
Fee, are listed and shall be collected on the tax roll.
Property owners that do not desire the charges to be added to the
tax roll may pay the charges to the City of Poway, Customer Service
Division, prior to 5:00 P.M., July 27, 1982.
