A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
AMENDING THE SCHEDULE OF WATER
RATES AND ESTABLISHING WATER RATES
FOR FISCAL YEAR 1982-1983
WHEREAS, the last amendment to the water rate schedule was made
January 19, 1981; and
WHEREAS, the cost of supplying water has increased significantly
during this time; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the water rate schedule and
establish water rates for fiscal year 1982-1983.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Poway:
That the water rate schedule is hereby established as follows for
all water billed after August 1, 1982:
Charge Per Unit

Basic Water Rate
The basic water rate for all classes of
service other than agriculture shall
equal (per unit)

Agriculture Rate
The agriculture rate for agriculture service
as defined by the Metropolitan Water
District shall equal (per unit)

Agriculture/Domestic Service
Customers who receive water service for a home from a meter also
serving a qualified agricultural use shall be charged at the basic water
rate for the first 52 units of water provided and at the agricultural
rate for all water provided in excess of 52 units.

Capacity Charges
Ail water customers shall pay a bi-monthly capacity charge for water
