AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION
OF CERTAIN PROPERTY (ZC 89-04E)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Poway has approved a General Plan
Amendment, GPA 89-04E, amending the land use designation for an approximate 0.11
gross acre parcel {APN 317-640-42) located at 13307 Carriage Road from
Residential Single Family-7 {6-7 du/net acre) to Residential Condominium (7-12
du/net acre); and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the zoning classification of the pro-
perty should also be changed to maintain consistency with the General Plan as
required by Section 65860 of the California Government Code; and
WHEREAS, a properly noticed public hearing was conducted in accordance with
Section 65853, et seq., of the California Government Code and the California
Environmental Quality Act to consider this zone reclassification; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that proposed Zone Change 89-04E will not
have a significant adverse impact on the environment and hereby issues a
Negative Declaration.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the City Council does hereby amend the
City of Poway Zoning Plan Map for the above described property from Residential
Single Family-7 {RS-7) to Residential Condominium {RC).
Effective Date: This ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty
(30) days after the date of its passage; and before the expiration of fifteen
{15} days after its passage, it shall be published once with the names and mem-
bers voting for and against the same in the Poway News Chieftain, a newspaper of
general circulation published in the City of Poway.
Introduced and first read at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Poway held the 12th day of September, 1989, and thereafter PASSED and
ADOPTED at a regular meeting of said City Council held the 26th day of
September , 1989 by the following roll call vote:
