A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
AMENDING SECTIONS VI (A) AND VIII (C)
OF THE CHARTER OF THE
PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE
WHEREAS,. the City Council of the City of Poway adopted Resolution
No. 101 establishing a Parks and Recreation Committee and the Charter there-
fore: and
WHEREAS, provision is made for amendment of that Charter by similar
action of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, it has been found desirable to amend Sections VI -
Meetings of Members (A), and VIII - Officers (C),
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Poway that:
Section VI - Meetings of Members, paragraph A shall be amended to
read:

Regular meetings of the Committee shall be scheduled at least
monthly, with the exception of the month immediately following
the election of City Council Members, at a time and place agreed
to by the Cormnittee and convenient for the public in order to
encourage conmunity involvement.
Section VIII - Officers, paragraph C, shall be amended to read:

The term of office shall run from the meeting immediately following
the election of City Council Members and expire approximately one
year later at the last meeting before the second Tuesday in April
of each year.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City
of Poway, California, at a regular meeting thereof this 27th day of
July, 1982.
