Res 313R~SOLUTION NO. 313 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION FOR STREET PURPOSES OF A CERTAIN ONE FOOT WIDE STRIP OF LAND LYING WITHIN RANCHO POWAY UNIT NO. 1 SUBDIVISION, MAP NO. 6118 WHEREAS, on the map of the Rancho Poway, Unit No. 1 subdivision recorded on June 5, 1968, as Map No. 6118 in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, there is offered for dedication for street purposes a certain one-foot wide strip of land adjoining Cicero Way as shown on said map; and WHEREAS, on said map the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Diego rejected the offer of dedication of said one-foot wide strip as hereinafter more particularly described; and WHEREAS, the State of California Government Code (Subdivision Map Act) Section 66477.2(a) provides that a rejected offer of dedication shall remain open and may be accepted by resolution at any later date; and WHEREAS, upon incorporation, the City of Poway became the successor in interest to the offer of dedication of said strip; and WHEREAS, it is in the best public interest of the City of Poway that said one-foot wide strip be now accepted for public use for street purposes. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Poway does resolve, determine, and order as follows: The City of Poway hereby rescinds the rejection of said strip, and does hereby accept for public use for street purposes the following: Ail that certain portion of Lot 4 of Rancho Poway, Unit No. 1, as per map recorded on June 5, 1968, as Map No. 6118, in the office of the Recorder of San Diego County, California, being a one-foot wide strip of land, shown on said map as "Portion of Lot 4 Reserved for Future Street." 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to certify to the passage of this resolution and to cause its recordation in the office of the Recorder of San Diego County.
