A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA ESTABLISHING A
"NO STANDING OR STOPPING" ZONE ON ESPOLA ROAD
WHEREAS, Section 22507 of the California vehicle Code pernuts the
establishment of a "No Standing or Stopping" zone in the City of Poway; and
WHEREAS, this Council has determined that a certain "No Standing or
Stopping" zone should be established; and
WHEREAS, this Council has determined that emergency vehicles in
performance of their regular duties, including speed limit enforcement,
should be exempt from the requirements of this resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that in accordance with said Section
22507 the following "No Standing or Stopping" zone is hereby established:
The east side of Espola Road from the northerly curb prolongation
of Stone Canyon Road across Espola Road to 1,000 feet north of
this location.
PASSED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Poway, California
at a regular meeting thereof this 9th day of November, 1982.
