A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY,
CALIFORNIA, STATING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE AND ABANDON A STREET
RESERVATION AND SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING DATE
(VACATION NO. 82-04)
WHEREAS, there has been requested the vacation of the hereinafter
described City street reservation, and
WHEREAS, Chapter 3 of Part 3 of Division 9 of the State of
California Streets and Highways Code, commencing at Section 8320,
provides that the City Council may, by resolution, declare its
intention to vacate any City street, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing is required at which all interested
parties may give evidence and testimony as to whether the hereinafter
described street reservation is necessary for any present or prospec-
tive public use and if it should or should not be vacated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Poway that it is the intention of this Council to vacate and
abandon the following described City street reservation pursuant to
the procedures prescribed in Chapter 3, Part 3, Division 9 of the
Streets and Highways Code:
That certain portion of Lot 87 of Green Valley Estates,
Unit No. 8, as per map thereof No. 3854, recorded in the
office of the County Recorder of San Diego County,
California, shown on said map as "Portion of Lot 87
Reserved for Future Street".
Said street reservation being a 70 foot wide strip,
running westerly approximately 690 feet from the
intersection of Martincoit Rd. and Rostrata Rd., to
the easterly terminus of Avenida La Valencia.
Said street reservation crosses Assessor's Parcel
Number 275-120-05, 06, 07, and 08.
IT IS ORDERED that Tuesday, January 25, 1983, at the hour of 7 o'clock
p.m. at City Hall Council Chambers, 13325 Civic Center Drive, is fixed
as the time and place for a public hearing on this matter.

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED THAT THE City Clerk of this City give
notice of the hearing of this resolution and of the time and place
fixed for the hearing of this resolution and of the time and place
fixed for the hearing by publication of a notice therefor in the
"Poway Chieftain", a newspaper of general circulation published in
the County of San Diego, for a least two successive weeks prior to
said day fixed for said hearing, and that the Clerk also cause
similar notices to be conspicuously posted along the line of said
street reservation proposed to be vacated as above described.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Poway,
California at a regular meeting thereof this 28th day of December, 1982.
