A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
ADOPTING GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT 83-02
BIKEWAYS ELEMENT AND MASTER PLAN
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council to provide safe
passage of nonmotorized vehicles throughout the City;
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council to establish
policy direction for the development and acquisition of bikeways; and
WHEREAS, the San Diego Association of Governments Bicycle
Facility Committee and the California Department of Transportation have
reviewed and approved the City of Poway Bikeways Element and Master Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of Poway, does hereby adopt the Interim Bikeways Element and Master Plan
as part of the Circulation Element of the General Plan for the City of
Poway and issue a Negative Declaration.
PASSED, ADOPTED, AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of
Poway, California, at a regular meeting thereof this 22nd day of February,
1983.
