~EI~S, on April 19, 1983, the City Oouncil adopted an ordinance for the
disclosure of hazardous materials (Ordinance No. 94); and
~EREAS, Section 68.812 of the ordinance provides for a permit fcc for
disclosure of hazardous materials; and
~EREAS, the submitted fee schedule will provide sufficient revenue to
recover costs for enforcing the Hazardous Materials Disclosure Ordinance.
NOW, THE~DRE, BE IT ~OLVED, OI~DER~D AND DEFENMINED by the City Oouncil
of the City of Poway, that the following fees for Hazardous Materials Disclosure
Permits are hereby established:
INITIAL DISCLOSURE FEE
$175.00 per establishment
SUBSeQUenT ANNUAL
DISCLOSURE
66.00 per establishment
All establishments required to file a disclosure form will
pay an initial filing fee. Establishments that possess a
Oounty of San Diego Hazardous Waste Establishment Permit
shall be ex~-~t from subsequent annual disclosure renewal
fees.
Users who are delinquent in filing disclosure forms and/or
payment of fees shall be subject to payment of the original
fee plus late fc~. Late fc~ will be 10% of the required
fee if delinquent by more than 30 days. Late fees will be
100 % of the required fee if delinquent by more than 60 days.
IT IS FJRPHER RESOLVSD that the above fee schedule shall become effective on
the operative date of Ordinance No. 94.
