A R~OLUTION OF THE CITY OOUNCIL
OF ~ CITY OF POWAY, CALIFO~IA,
FIXING AND DETERMINING S~ER ODNN~LTION ~
~EREAS, Ordinance No. 107 has been md_opted by the City ODuncil authorizing
all sewer fees and charges to be set by Resolution of the fbuncil; and
~tEREAS, Ordinance No. 107 repealed Ordinances 59, 67, 71, 75 and 76 of the
Pomerado Oounty Water District which set forth sewer fees and charges.
NOW, THEI~RDRE, the City ~ouncil does resolve as follows:
Section 1: Schedule of Sewer Cbnnection Fees.
The following schedule of fees applies to sewer connections frcm unit(s) to
City's main, transmission or collector lines:

unit is defined as a family living space(s) consisting of, but not
limited to, a kitches, bath, living rooms and beclrooms under a
~n roof or airspace.
Cc~mercial~ Professional and Industrial Buildings per
unit not exceeding 2,000 sq. ft. in area. $1,500.00
Units in excess of 2,000 sq. ft. will be charged $1,500 for the
first 2,000 sq. ft., plus 75¢ per sq. ft. of area over 2,000 sq.
ft.
Schools (public and private).
Student Facilities (each unit) $1,500.00
A unit is defined, but not limited to facility design (student
capacity) times 12 (gallons per day per person) divided by 250
gallons per day.

Other school facilities are sa~e as for commercial, professional
and industrial buildings.
Churches (each unit) $1,500.00
A unit is defined, but not limited to design capacity divided by
100 (equivalent to 2.5 gallons per day per person).

Motel units are defined, but not limited to, a separate
living facility custc~arily rented by the day, week or month.

Sites exc~ing 2,000 sq. ft. will be charged $1,500 for the
first 2,000 sq. ft., plus 75¢ per sq. ft. of area which exceeds
2,000.
Permanent facilities within such Trailer Park or Mobile Hc~e
sites, oonstructed as an adjunct or ~onvenienceof the resi-
dents therein, are defined as, but not limited to, recreation
facilities, laundry and/or dry cleaning facilities, swirm%ing
pool dressing rooms and toilets and food service facilities
or o~m%ercialunits such as bars, restaurants or stores.
Unclassified uses
In the event that a proposed use does not fall within one of the
foregoing classifications, the applicant for a oonnection to the City's
sewage syste~ shall sukmit the proposed use to the City Manager. The
city Manager shall set an appropriate oounection fee for the proposed
use.
