A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION FOR STREET
PURPOSES OF CERTAIN ONE-FOOT WIDE STi~IPS OF LAND
LYING WITHIN POMERADO GARDENS SUBDIVISION, MAP NO. 4282, AND
TUSTIN HILLS, UNIT 1, SUBDIVISION MAP NO. 4442
WHEREAS, on the map of the Pomerado Gardens subdivision, recorded on
July 29, 1959, as Map No. 4282, in the office of the County Recorder, there is
offered for dedication for street purposes a certain one-foot wide strip
adjoining Montauk St., designated as Lot E on said map, and
WHEREAS, on the map of the Tustin Hills, Unit 1, subdivision, recorded on
January 12, 1960, as Map No. 4442, in the office of the County Recorder, there
is offered for dedication for street purposes a certain one-foot wide strip
adjoining Metate Lane, designated as Lot C on said map, and
WHEREAS, on said maps the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Diego
rejected the offers of dedication of said one-foot wide strips as hereinafter
more particularly described, and
WHEREAS, the State of California Government Code (Subdivision Map Act)
Section 66477.2(a) provides that a rejected offer of dedication shall remain
open and may be accepted by resolution at any later date, and
WHEREAS, upon incorporatfon, the City of Poway became the successor in
interest to the offers of d~dication of said strips, and
WHEREAS, it is in the best public interest of the City of Poway that
said one-foot wide strips be now accepted for public use for street purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Poway does resolve,
determine, and order as follows:
The City of Poway hereby rescinds the rejection of said strips,
and does hereby accept for public use for street purposes the
following:
Lot E of Pomerado Gardens subdivision, as per map recorded on
July 29, 1959, as Map No. 4282; and Lot C of Tustin Hills, Unit 1,
subdivision, as per map recorded on January 12, 1960, as Map No.
4442, all as filed in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego
County.

The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to certify to the
passage of this resolution and to cause its recordation in the office
of the Recorder of San Diego County.
PASSED, ADOPTED, AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Poway,
California, at a regular meeting thereof this 12th day of July , 1983.
