ESTABLISHING THE FIRE PROTECTION FEES,
SEWER ANNEXATION ~'~S, ~ DISTRICT ASSESSMENTS

TO BE COr,L~'~D ON THE PROPERTY TAX ROLL
FOR FISCAL YEAR 1983-1984
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Poway desires to have the Fire
Protection Fees, Sewer Annexation Fees, Water District Assessments and Landscape
Maintenance District Assessments collected on the property tax roll; and
WHEREAS, at a regular ~ting of the Poway City Council the amounts to be
collected have been set forth in a public report and the public has ~n allowed
to cc~ment on these amounts and this action has been duly advertised as required
by law; and
WHEREAS, this action is authorized by tho laws of the State of California.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY CCUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY DOES HE~RRy FIND,
RESOLVE, DETERMINE A~D ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the sum of $421,371 shall be collected on the property tax
roll in the form of a Fire Protection Fee as authorized by Ordinance No. 61 of
the City of Poway as provided in Section 4 of Ordinance No. 61, the value of a
point is established as $3.12.
Section 2. That the sum of $3,681.60 is due tho sewer improv~m~_nt district
representing 1/10 of the total annexation fees co~ering Del Norte Improvemant
District 73-1. That said sum shall be collected as a Flat Charge Special
Assessment on the 1983-1984 San Diego County Tax Roll pursuant to tho instruc-
tions and agreements between Pcmerado County Water District and the Oounty of
San Diego.
Section 3. That the sum of $288.70 is due the sewer improvement district
representing 1/10 of the total annexation fees covering Kozy Crest Improvement
District 80-2. That said sum shall be collected as a Flat Charge Special
Assessment on the 1983-1984 San Diego County Tax Roll pursuant to the instruc-
tions and agreements between Pcmerado County Water District and the County of
San Diego.
Section 4. That the sum of $3,255.40 is due the sewer improvement district
representing 1/10 of the total annexation fees covering Green Valley Improvement
District 80-1. That said sum shall be collected as a Flat Charge Special
Assessment on the 1983-1984 San Diego County Tax Roll pursuant to tho instruc-
tions and agreements bet%~n Pcmerado County Water District and the County of
San Diego.

Section 5. That the sum of $240,500 is required to he raised by taxation for
the payment of principal and interest on Assessment District No. 79-1, which
covers the service area lying generally south of Poway Road and north of Garden
Road and up to 1,000 feet in elevation. This area was formerly included in the
Poway Fnnicipal Water District. This sum sb~ll he collected on the 1983-1984
San Diego County Tax Roll to provide for the payment of interest and principal
of said bonds at maturity.
Section 6. That the sum of $10,500 is required to be collected for main-
tenance costs of Landscape and Maintenance District 83-1. That said sum shall
be collected on the 1983-1984 San Diego County Tax I~Dll to provide for the main-
tenance costs of the district.
Section 7. That the City Clerk is instructed to forward a certified copy of
this resolution to the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors and the Auditor of the
County of San Diego.
