A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY (3~UNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA,
DESIGNATING A REDEVELOPMenT SURVEY AREA
IN (/]NNq~TION WITH THE ADOPTION OF A
R~DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE
PA~3AY REDEVELOPS~ENT PR~
WHEREAS, California O~u~nity Redevelopment Law (California Health and
Safety Code Section 33000 et seq.) authorizes the legislative body of the City
of Poway to designate a redevelopment survey area in connection with the adop-
tion of a redevelopment plan; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to designate as a redevelopment survey
area that area shown on the map attached hereto es Exhibit "A" and incorporated
herein by reference.
NOW, TB~ORE, the City Council of the Cityof Poway does hereby resolve as
follows:
Section 1: The City Council hereby designates as a redevelopment survey area
in connection with the adoption of the Plan that area shown on the map attached
hereto es Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by reference.
Section 2: The City Council hereby finds and determines that said redevelop-
ment survey area designated hereby requires study to determine that setting and
establishing the boundaries of the Paguay Redevelopment Project within said area
is feasible and hereby authorizes and directs the Planning Ooa~ission of the
City of Poway to conduct said study, to select property within said area to be
included within the boundaries of the Paguay Redevelopment Project, and to pre-
pare a preliminary plan therefor.
PASS~D, ADOPTED AND APPROVED, by the City Council of the City of Poway,
California, at a regular meeting thereof this 23rd day of August, 1983.
