A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY GOUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ~OhI~Y, CAT,T'L~ORNIA,
Pd~GARDING PBOJECT AREA G0~4IT~RR. REQUIREMENTS
~f~EAS, Health and Safety Code Section 33385 requires the creation of a
project area co~nittee in oonnection with the adoption of a Redeveloi~rent Plan
only where a substantial nun~er of low and m~derate income families are to be
displaced by the redevelopment project; and
WHEREAS, the proposed Paguay project area will not displace a substantial
number of low and m~derate income families; and
~EREAS, the City Council desires that the Redevelopment Agency consult with
residents and OOu,t~unity organizations prior to submitting the proposed
Redeveloix~.=nt Plan to the City Council;
NDW, THEREFORE, the Poway City Council hereby resolves as follows:
Section 1. The proposed Paguay redevelopment project will not displace a
substantial number of low and m~derate income families.
Section 2. The Agency shall consult with, and obtain the advice of a
Redevelopment Advisory Committee, residents and co,,l~mity organizations as pro-
vided for project area co~ittees in Health and Safety Gode Section 33386, and
shall provide such persons and organizations with the Redevelopment Plan prior
to submitting it to the City Council.
