A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY
ACCEPTING IRREVOCABLE OFFERS TO DEDICATE REAL
PROPERTY FOR PUBLIC HIGHWAY PU~POSE$ -
MONTE VISTA ROAD, EAST OF POMERADO ROAD
WHEREAS, on April 10, 1975, there were recorded several irrevocable
offers to dedicate real property to the county of San Diego for public
highway purposes, for the easterly extension of Monte Vista Road, (formerly
George Russ Road), by the develgper of Conditional Use Permit CUP-82-11, and
WHEREAS, said irrevocable offers were not formerly accepted for public
highway purposes by the County of San Diego, and
WHEREAS, the State of California Government Code Section 7050 provides
that an offer of dedication shall remain open and may be accepted at any time
by the City Council of the city within which the real property is located at
the time of acceptance, and
WHEREAS, it is in the best public interest of the City of Poway that
said irrevocable offers of dedication now be accepted for public highway
purposes to coincide with the construction and improvement of Monte vista Road.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Poway does resolve,
determine and order as follows:
1. The City of Poway hereby accepts for public use for public
highway purposes the following:
Those certain irrevocable offers to dedicate real property
for public highway purposes, recorded on April 10, 1975,
at File/Page 75-083152, 75-083153, 75-083154, 75-083157,
and 75-083158, all of official Records, San Diego County,
california.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to certify
to the passage of this resolution and to cause its recordation
in the office of the Recorder of San Diego County.
PASSED, ADOPTED, AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Poway,
California, at a regular meeting thereof this llth day of October , 19_~_~.
