A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
SUPPORTING THE DISTRICT ACT REVISION
COMMITTEE'S RECOMMENDATION
WHEREAS, on November 24, 1982, the Board of Supervisors approved
the formation of a District Act Revision Committee to prepare recom-
mended revisions to the San Diego County Flood Control District Act;
and
WHEREAS, two alternative conceptual legislative packages were
developed delineating substantially different approaches in the District
organizational structure described as Alternates A and B.
WHEREAS, the District Act Revision Committee unanimously supported
Alternate A and opposed Alternate B.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of
Poway does resolve and support the unanimous recommendation of the
District Act Revision Committee, to support Alternate A and oppose
Alternate B.
PASSED, ADOPTED, and APPROVED by the City Council of the City of
Poway, California at an adjourned regular meeting thereof this 20th
day of October, 1983.
