A }~%IqOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF PO~AY, CALIFORNIA
ESTABLISHING THE P(]~AY
ROAD BEAUTIFICATION FUND
WHEREAS, the City of Poway has received donations for the express
public purpose of improvements to enhance the appearance of Pow-ay Road; and
WHEREAS, said donations have ~cn tendered for deposit to a trust fund
to be used exclusively for said public purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Poway City Council as follows:
Section 1: There shall be established a separate trust fund to be
entitled "The Pow-ay Road Beautification Fund" to receive donations frcm
individuals or organizations.
Section 2: Monies deposited in and credited to the Pow-ay RDad
Beautification Fund shall be used at the discretion of the City Council
solely and exclusively for public purposes as follows:
(a) median construction, landscaping and maintenance;
(b) bus stop and bus bench construction and maintenance;
(c) billboard removal and other signage beautification purposes; and
(d) other projects whose purpose is to enhance the aesthetic
appearance of PowayRoad.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Poway,
California, at a regular meeting thereof this 6th day of March, 1984.
