A ]~qOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCfL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALI FORNI A,
SUPPORTING THE CITY OF C~3LA VISTA'S
BAYFRONT LAND USE PLANS
WHEREAS, the State of California requires that all areas within the State
Coastal Zone have a Local Coastal Plan that must be approved by the State
Goastal C~L,,./ssion; and
WHEREAS, the City of Chula vista has prepared an enviromlentally sensitive
and econcmically viable land use plan element; and
WHEREAS, the wise utilization and preservation of coastal zone resources is
of concern to all jurisdictions within the San Diego region; and
~, the Chula Vista Bayfront Land Use Plan, if impl~m~ented in a c~x~re-
hensive manner, will provide facilities that will be used and enjoyed by all San
Diego County residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLV/D, that the City Gouncil of the City of Poway
supports the revised 1983 Bayfront Land Use Plan as proposed by the City of
Chula Vista and urges the C~1½fornia Ooastal C~-.ission to approve said plan.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED, by the City Council of the City of Poway,
California, at a regular ~cting thereof this 20th day of March, 1984.
