A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
ESTABLISHING THE IN-LI~3 FR~R
AND THE TOTAL ESTIMATED COST
OF PARKLAND DEVELOPM~gT
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 79 and the revised Parkland Dedication
Ordinance No. 124 requires the payment of park fees in lieu of dedication
of land; and
~IEREAS, the ordinance requires the establishment of total esti-
mated costs for the development of public owned parkland; and
~IEREAS, the City Council has identified additional n~----~ded park
and recreation facilities totaling $4,715,000; and
~{EAS, The City Council desires to credit the amount of school
fees paid toward the increase in the total cost of developing public owned
recreation facilities resulting frcm these additional facilities.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT R~OLVED that:
1. The total estimated cost for develola~ent of public owned
parkland designated on the Park and Recreation El~aent or Land Use and
Circulation Plan Map of the Comprehensive Plan is $7,366,000.
2. That since $4,715,000 of this amount is intended to be used
for the develoianent of park and recreation facilities owned by the Poway
Unified School District, it is the desire of the City that anyone who has
paid school fees should not also have to pay the cost for these additional
facilities.
3. That the parkland dedication fees resulting frc~ a develop-
ment that b~s not paid school fees shall be:
$2,219 perunit for single family residences
$1,232 per unit for multiple family residences
$ 836 per unit for mobile hemes.
4. That the amount of the school fees paid may be credited to
the amount of the parkland dedication fee, but, the minimum parkland dedi-
cation fee paid for develolanent shall be:
$798 per unit for single family residences
$443perunit for multiplefamilyresidences
$469 per unit for mobile hcmes.
