A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
DECLARING THE STONERIDGE REALTY OFFICE
AT 16911 CLOUDCROFT DRIVE AN ILLEGAL USE AND A
PUBLIC NUSIANCE AND ORDERING ABATEMENT BY THE
PROPERTY OWNERS AT THEIR EXPENSE WITH PAYMENT OF
COSTS TO BE SECURED BY ASSESSMENT AND LIEN
WHEREAS, officials of the City of Poway have determined that the
Stoneridge Realty office at 16911 Cloudcroft Drive is operating in
violation of the City's Zoning Development Code (Section 2.1) by
operating a commercial real estate office in a single family residential
zone, and is therefore an unlawful operation and a public nuisance
(Section 1.6).
WHEREAS, the property owners James Shippey, Ethelyn Shippey, William
Rarity, and Carolyn Rarity have appealed that determination to the City
Council in a duly noticed public hearing on April 24, 1984.
NOW, THEREFORE, Be It Resolved By the City Council of the City of
Poway as follows:
The City Council declares that the Stoneridge Realty office at
16911 Cloudcroft Drive is operating in violation of the City's
Zoning Development Code (Section 2.1) by operating a commercial
real estate office in a single family residential zone; and in
accordance with Section 1.6 of that Code, that it is therefore
an unlawful operation and a public nuisance.

The Stoneridge Realty office use and any and all other illegal
uses upon the property shall be terminated on or before August
1, 1985.
APPROVED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Poway, State
of California, this 24th day of April, 1984.
