A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
AMENDING THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF
THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF POWAY
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN (GPA 84-01B)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Poway recognizes that
the need may arise to amend the City's General Plan; and
WHEREAS, Section 65350, et seq., of the California Government
Code describes the procedures for amending General Plans; and
WHEREAS, owners Joseph K. Anderson and Edith M. Anderson have
requested a modification of land use designation on two parcels
having an area of approximately 1.23 acres and located on the east
side of Pomerado Road across from the Pomerado Oaks Mobile Home Park
(12347 Pomerado Road, APN 317-232-19 and 20); and
WHEREAS, the City of Poway held a properly noticed public
hearing in accordance with the California Government Code and the
California Environmental Quality Act to consider that request.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby
amend the General Plan Land Use Map for the above described
properties from Residential Single Family 2 to Residential
Apartment.
PASSED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Poway,
State of California this 26th day of June, 1984.
