A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
AMENDING THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE
GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF POWAY
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN (GPA 84-01C)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Poway recognizes that the
need may arise to amend the City's General Plan; and
WHEREAS, Section 65350, et seq., of the California Government Code
describes the procedures for amending General Plans; and
WHEREAS, owner Ralph D. Nelson has requested a modification of
land use designation of two parcels with an area of 2.86 acres and
located at the terminus of Silver Lake Lane (APN 317-490-46, 317-490-
50; and
WHEREAS, the City of Poway held a properly noticed public hearing
in accordance with the California Government Code and the California
Environmental Quality Act to consider that request.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby
amend the General Plan Land Use Map for the above described properties
from Commercial Office to Residential Apartment.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Poway, State
of California this 26th day of June, 1984.
