RESOLUTION NO. 84-069 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA APPROVING THE REPORT PREPARED FOR COLLECTION OF WEED ABATEMENT, NUISANCE ABATEMENT AND VEHICLE ABATEMENT CHARGES ON THE COUNTY TAX ASSESSOR'S ROLL FOR THE YEAR 1984-85 WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Poway desires that Weed Abatement, Nuisance Abatement and Vehicle Abatement Charges for the fiscal year 1984-85 be collected on the tax roll, in the same manner, by 'the same persons, and at the same time as, together with and not separate from, the general taxes as provided in the Government Code; and WHEREAS, Ordinance 41, 57 and 25 of the City of Poway respeCtively establishes the procedures for weed abatement, nuisance abatement and vehicle abatement by notifying property owners of the necessity for abatement and authorizes collection of abatement charges on the Tax Roll; and WHEREAS, The City Council conducted a Public Hearing on these matters following due promulgation of notice as required by law. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY DOES HEREBY FIND, RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The report submitted to the City Council setting forth Weed Abatement, Nuisance Abatement and Vehicle Charges as established by Ordinances 41, 57 and 25 respectively and attached hereto as Exhibit A is hereby approved. Section 2: The City Clerk is authorized and directed to file the Official Report with the County Auditor, County of San Diego, State of California. PASSED, ADOPTED, and APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Poway, California, at a regular meeting thereof the 24th day of July, 1984. ATTEST: Robert C. Emer~~t~ayor Marjori~e I~., Wahlsten, City Clerk BOB EMERY, Deputy Mayor CARL KRUSE, Councilmember LINDA ORAVEC, Councilmember MARY SHEPARDSON, Councilmember C TY OF POWA ' REPORT WEED ABATEMENT, NUISANCE ABATEMENT VEHICLE ABATEMENT CHARGES TO BE COLLECTED ON THE 1984-85 TAX ROLL In accordance with Ordinance No. 41 of the City of Poway, property owners of the attached listed parcels were notified by mail of the necessity to abate weeds, brush and/or other debris on their property which cause a public nuisance. The public nuisances were not abated by the date specified on the notices and a' private contractor, working for the City of Poway, abated the nuisance. Charges for the abatement, which includes a $20 City Administrative Fee, are listed and shall be collected on the tax roll. Several charges for nuisance abatement under Ordinance No. 57 and several charges for vehicle abatement under Ordinance No. 25 are also listed. Property owners that do not desire the charges to be added to the tax roll may pay the charges to the City of Poway, Customer Service Division, prior to 5:00 p.m., July 24, 1984.
