Res 84-077RESOLUTION NO. 84-077 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA AMENDING THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF POWAY COMPREHENISVE PLAN (GPA 84-02A) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Poway recognizes that the need may arise to amend the City's General Plan; and WHEREAS, Section 65350, et seq., of the California Geovernment Code describes the procedures for amending General Plans; and WHEREAS, owner Standard Pacific of San Diego have requested a modification of land use designation on the following parcels: 317-090-17, 31, 35 and 36 314-040-21 317-680-37 and 38 314-160-01, 08, 15-33 and 36-39 314-371-10 and 13 314-050-01, 02, 13, 17, 19, and 20 314-540-46 Portions of 314-371-12, 314-032-64, 314-050-18 having an area of approximately 660 acres and located on both sides of Twin Peaks Road, east of Pomerado Road, west of Community Road, and north of Poway Road; and WHEREAS, the City of Poway held a properly noticed public hearing in accordance with the California Government Code and the California Environmental Quality Act to consider that request. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby amend the General Plan Land Use Map for the above described properties from Residential Single Family 4, Residential Rural A, and Residential Rural C to Planned Community.
