A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
AMENDING THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF
THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF POWAY
COMPREHENISVE PLAN (GPA 84-02B)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Poway recognizes that
the need may arise to amend the City's General Plan; and
WHEREAS, Section 65350, et seq., of the California Geovernment
Code describes the procedures for amending General Plans; and
WHEREAS, owners Lou Grubb and Dan Grubb have requested a
modification of land use designation on a portion of a parcel having
an area of approximately 12.35 acres and located on the north side of
Poway Road east of Toyota of Poway (APN 317-130-158); and
WHEREAS, the City of Poway held a properly noticed public hearing
in accordance with the California Government Code and the California
Environmental Quality Act to consider that request.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby
amend the General Plan Land Use Map for the above described property
from Residential Rural to Commercial Community.
PASSED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Poway,
