A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION FOR STREET
PURPOSES OF CERTAIN ONE-FOOT WIDE STRIPS OF LAND
LYING WITHIN CITY OF POWAY TRACT 3495, MAP NO. 9981:
TREECREST STREET, AND TRIUMPH DRIVE
WHEREAS, on the map of City of Poway Tract 3495, recorded on
January 27, 1981, as Map No. 9981, in the office of the County
Recorder, there is offered for dedication for street purposes
certain one-foot wide strips at the westerly ends of Treecrest
Street and Triumph Drive, and
WHEREAS, on said map the City Council of the City of Poway
rejected the offers of dedication of said one-foot wide strips
as hereinafter more particularly described, and
WHEREAS, the State of California Government Code (Subdivision
Map Act) Section 66477.2(a) provides that a rejected offer of
dedication shall remain open and may be accepted by resolution
at any later date, and
WHEREAS, because of the approval and impending recordation
of the Final Map of City of Poway Tract 4113, Unit 1, it is in
the best public interest of the City of Poway that said one-foot
wide strips be now accepted for public use for street purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Poway does
resolve, determine, and order as follows:
1. The City of Poway hereby rescinds the rejection
of said strips, and does hereby accept for public
use for street purposes the following:
Those portions of Lots 123, 124, 149, and 150
designated "Portion of Lots 123, 124, 149, and
150 Reserved for Future Street" on the map of
City of Poway Tract 3495, recorded on January 27,
1981, as Map No. 9981, in the Office of the
County Recorder of San Diego County, California.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to certify to the passage of this resolution and
to cause its recordation in the office of the
Recorder of San Diego County.
PASSED, ADOPTED, AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City
of Poway, California, at a regular meeting thereof this 2nd day
of October , 1984.
